    Determix project is the on-line and CD realization of biological databases and identification guides based on Lysandra platform (www.lysandrasoft.com). Taxonomical identification guides to various living organisms were already created by Lysandra software.
    Lysandra Viewer program was contrived by Kirill Dovgailo in 1999. He designed the initial appearance and scenario of the program in the same time, which was able to be a union of handy viewer for looking through the images galleries and text data and polychotomous key.

    There are a number of work created on the base of Lysandra, three of them were published: on fauna of Cryptocephalidae beetles, on butterflies of Belarus and on butterflies of Eastern Europe. Distribution was carried out on CD. Since this way excludes the possibility for quick supplementations and corrections, it was decided to do all the data available by Internet.

    We propose several demo databases with no need for registration, with free of charge access to your attention. These databases are available just after the program installation.

    Commercial versions of our databases contain the completely illustrated tool for species identification, vast number of species pictures and species distribution maps.

    The co-authors of our databases are the leading specialists in the field of zoology, professionally qualified scientists and candidates of biological sciences. Separately in the databases accompanying text we propose each author’s resume.
